The 153 Big Fish Project receives its inspiration from the Gospel of John (21:11), where Peter casts into the deep at the direction of Jesus and catches 153 big fish. This can be seen as an allegory of the great missionary efforts of the Church. This important work is greatly complemented by the major source of energy and strength for the Catholic Church: the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. In His great love, Christ gives Himself to His people as the Bread of Life, in order that they may become more closely united to Him. Through this gift, one can receive the strength and courage necessary to live a truly Christ-like life of service to others.

So why go to adoration? Why go to adore the Lord as He gives Himself as a gift to all men, whom He loves immensely with the burning love of His Sacred Heart? The 153 Big Fish Project attempts to answer this question by displaying a series of short interviews, asking people why they go to adoration and what it means to them.
This project is currently under construction, but check back soon as we continue to collect interviews and update our site.
